Which 2.5 in housing should I pick?

  • Threaded with drain: the all-round choice. The bottom drain lets you flush the housing without removing it.
  • Threaded, flat bottom: sits lower and has no valve under the housing, for tight spaces.
  • Clamp lid, 1.5 mm electropolished: opens by hand, SUS304, good value for frequent cartridge changes.
  • Clamp lid, 2.0 mm polished: thicker wall, polished inside and out, available in SUS316.
  • Slim 76 mm: takes a 10 x 2.5 in cartridge in a narrower body.

Will my cartridge fit?

These housings take 2.5 in DOE cartridges, the most common size worldwide, including PP sediment, carbon block and our reusable stainless steel mesh cartridges. Measure the outside diameter (60 mm ±1 mm, centre hole 30 mm ±2 mm) and the actual length of your cartridge before ordering. A 4.5 in jumbo cartridge (102 mm) will not fit; see our jumbo housings instead.

NPT or BSP?

Pick NPT for pipework in the United States and BSP (G) for the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The two threads look alike but do not seal together.
